WORKING FOR YOU

Sustainability, affordability, and dignity are at the center of my vision for the 3rd Berkshire District.
I believe our communities should be places where people can live, work, and age with security and respect. That means protecting our natural resources, expanding access to affordable housing and healthcare, supporting local economies, and ensuring that everyone — from young families to older adults — can build a stable and meaningful life here in the Berkshires. My goal is to help create a future where our towns remain vibrant, resilient, and welcoming for generations to come.

Voters

HOUSING & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

I am deeply committed to addressing the housing crisis while strengthening the economic vitality of our rural communities. That means expanding housing options across the district — from workforce housing and  ADUs to sensible zoning reforms that allow young families, working people, and seniors to stay in the communities they love. I strongly support the Seasonal Communities designation, which gives towns new tools to create housing for full-time residents while protecting the character of our communities.

Economic development in rural regions requires strong partnerships and creative solutions. I will continue working with financial institutions, developers, and community partners to help unlock investment, support responsible development, and create opportunities for local businesses and entrepreneurs.

Transportation and infrastructure are also critical to economic growth in Western Massachusetts. I will continue advocating for solutions like microtransit and improved regional transit connections so workers can reach jobs and businesses can access talent.

EDUCATION & HEALTHCARE

Affordable, accessible healthcare and strong public schools are the foundations of thriving communities. In rural districts like ours, schools are often the heart of the community. I will continue advocating for fair state funding for rural schools, sustainable transportation funding, and investment in school building projects so our students can learn in safe, modern facilities.

I am also committed to lowering the cost of early education and childcare so families can work and children can thrive. Expanding access to high-quality childcare and early learning programs is essential not only for families, but for the economic health of our region.

Access to healthcare remains a major challenge in rural communities. I will continue working to expand mental health and substance use treatment programs, support community health centers, and ensure residents across the Berkshires can access quality care close to home. I will also continue advancing legislation to strengthen and modernize emergency medical services, ensuring EMS providers have the support they need to serve our communities.

ENVIRONMENT & AGRICULTURE

Agriculture and land stewardship are central to the identity and economy of the Berkshires. Protecting farmland and supporting the farmers who care for our land is essential to the long-term health of our communities and our rural economy.

I am working to strengthen the local food value chain — from farmers and producers to schools, hospitals, and other institutions — so that more locally grown food stays in our region and supports local jobs.

I filed legislation in partnership with Berkshire Agricultural Ventures (BAV) to help connect local farms with schools and other institutions, while also supporting programs that expand food access through SNAP and initiatives like the Local Food Purchase Assistance Cooperative Agreement Program (LFPA).

I will continue advocating for small farms, farmland protection, and regenerative agriculture so we can support farmers, strengthen our local food system, and protect the working landscapes that define the Berkshires.

VETERANS & SENIORS

We must honor our commitment to the veterans who served our country and the seniors who built our communities. I will continue advocating for funding for local organizations that help seniors age in place, including transportation, food assistance, and community-based services.

I support targeted tax relief for seniors and veterans to help offset rising costs so they can remain in their homes and communities, and I will oppose any cuts to Medicare benefits.

This commitment is also personal to me. My family has deep ties to military service, and I am incredibly proud that my daughter is a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy. Supporting veterans, military families, and seniors will always be a priority for me
