Voter Information

Your Vote Matters

This year's election promises to be historic, up and down the ballot. You have three choices for casting your vote:

Vote Early By Mail

Securely cast your vote by mail.

Request your Ballot AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, at least 2 weeks before the election. Deadline is October 29th at 5pm.

Return Deadlines:

  • If returned in person or by drop box: 8 p.m., November 5, 2024

  • If returned by domestic mail: by 5 p.m. on November 8, 2024 (must be postmarked by Election Day)

  • If returned by mail from outside the United States: 5 p.m. on November 15, 2024 (must be postmarked by Election Day)

Skip the lines at your polling place

Early Voting hours vary by town, but will be between October 19th and November 1st.

You can check with your town clerk for information on when and where they will hold early voting.

Vote on November 5th

Polls are open 7 AM to 8 PM!

If you are in line by 8 PM, you may cast a ballot.

You may need to show identification when you check-in at your polling place if:

  • You are voting for the first time in Massachusetts

  • You’re on the inactive voter list

  • You're casting a provisional or challenged ballot

  • The poll worker has a practical and legal reason to ask for identification

Don't forget to register!

The deadline is October 26th.
